HID
HID headlights provide more light for less power. The principal difference between HID and conventional light sources is the absence of a filament, which accounts for the ruggedness and durability of the lights (they are the preferred choice of motorcycle riders as well as off-road and 24-hour endurance racers because of their resistance to shock and vibration). Additionally, it offers product designers an opportunity to produce light management systems both reflector and projector type with more improved side-to-side spread light. The additional light (lumens) allow both better down-road illumination and improved lighting directly in front of the vehicle. The sense of security and comfort for motorists and their passengers is greatly enhanced during night driving in the rain, especially on unmarked asphalt roads because of HID's color qualities.
